How to save cost for custom sheet metal parts?

    Select the right material Sheet metal parts come in a  range  of materials—carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.  Depending  on your industry and application, you may want one type of material over another. Carbon steel is stronger than other types of sheet metal but rusts easily; whereas, aluminum is lightweight and corrosion-resistant but  prone  to dents.
